The following Godminster terms and conditions (including the privacy statement) apply to all orders placed with us, the seller using our website, www.godminster.com, by the customer, hereafter referred to as ‘you’, ‘your’.
The seller, hereafter referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ is Vintage Enterprises Ltd., trading as Godminster, registered in England and Wales, No. 5744214, VAT No.879589530
‘Product(s)’, or ‘goods’, or ‘items’ means goods listed on our website.
These terms and conditions apply only to consumers.

Orders and Registration
When you confirm payment, you offer to buy the quantities of goods you selected at the price, delivery cost and any added VAT displayed. All orders are subject to this condition.
Your order is accepted once confirmed by us, following our checks of your card details and address. It then becomes binding, subject to rights to cancel.
All orders are subject to availability of the products ordered. Should any products be unavailable, or should events beyond our reasonable control occur, we reserve the right to cancel the order without liability and inform you as soon as possible, using the email address you supply.
You own the goods once they are despatched and with the carrier, or once we receive payment in full for the goods and any delivery charge, whichever is later.
Availability of some products may be subject to seasonal variations.
We try to regularly update our stock lists on our website.
Godminster make reasonable effort to ensure the information supplied within our website is accurate and up to date, still, we make no warranty or representation as to its accuracy. We take no responsibility for omissions. All images, photographic representation and other information are illustrative only. Any props or items shown in images but not listed, do not form any part of the product.
If you register to buy from our website, you are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account name and password and all activity that occurs under them. Please advise us intermediately if you suspect your account details are being used without your authority.
If you register, you agree to provide the correct registration details. This includes not giving false a name, or impersonating another. Also, to ensure that changes to any details are updated on our website.
Pricing and Payment
All prices for products in invoices are given in GBP sterling at the price displayed on our website, at the time of your order. We reserve the right to update prices on our website from time to time.
You cannot use discount vouchers/codes in conjunction with any other web special offers. Only one special offer can be used at any one time. Discount codes are only valid once per customer. No other promotions will run over Black Friday weekend other than the highlighted product discount. We may sometimes run promotions that are exclusively available online, or exclusively available in the Godminster shop in Bruton, or exclusive to shows or events.
Discount code available in conjunction with The Week is valid until 31st December 2019.
If we discover an error in the price of an ordered product, we will contact you and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel the product. We will cancel the product and remove it from your order if we cannot contact you.
Some product prices may include VAT, which will be displayed and charged at the current rate.
You can make payments online by using only credit/debit card payment methods listed. Contact us to arrange alternative payment methods. Please don’t send payment by email.
Our secure payment gateway is operated by Sage Pay, who once you place your order, will automatically seek authorisation from your card issuer. You may be required to provide further authorisation for some cards. Once we have received a valid authorisation we will process your order, products are charged at despatch and will appear as Vintage Products Ltd on your statement.
You will receive an email from us notifying when your order is despatched.
We make reasonable effort to ensure that all goods that we despatch are in perfect condition and take precautions to ensure the integrity of any products for transit.
Many of our products are perishable items. We store all our products in perfect conditions prior to despatch, but we are not responsible for storage conditions after despatch.
Please ensure you choose a delivery date where you or someone with your permission is available to receive and sign for the delivery as required. We may be able to deliver goods to alternative addresses or work-places to ensure receipt. If the order is a gift, to another address, it is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive it. We will not advise gift recipients of impending deliveries. You may contact us to change the delivery address, or date of any order within a reasonable time period prior to despatch.
We despatch orders Monday to Thursday and usually deliver Tuesday to Friday.
Delivery times quoted or displayed are for guidance only and not a guarantee.
Due to the nature of some perishable products and long transit times it is not possible to deliver some products over very long distances by standard carriers. International/overseas/long-distance customers should contact us to discuss and arrange delivery. Please Note: we are currently unable to ship international orders out of the UK. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.
We cannot advise upon customs duties and restrictions that may be applicable to some products.
Please contact us if your order fails to arrive, or if the order arrives on the correct delivery date in an unsatisfactory condition.

Cancellation and Returns
Any order may only be varied or cancelled by contacting us within a reasonable time period prior to despatch.
We will only accept returns for goods deemed to be in an unsatisfactory condition upon receipt, or for goods mistakenly despatched. Please inform us immediately upon receipt of any goods in an unsatisfactory condition, or incorrectly despatched. Depending on the condition we may offer a refund or exchange for the full value of the goods. Additionally, any proven delivery costs incurred if you return the goods.
The law of England and Wales governs these terms and conditions. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If the courts or regulatory authorities deem any provision within these terms and conditions is unfair, we may change or remove that condition without allowing it to affect the other provisions. These terms and conditions may not be varied by you unless confirmed in writing by both you and us.
We reserve the right to alter, add or remove any content on our website. This includes these terms and conditions, at any time. Please review these terms and conditions regularly.
Under the 1964 licensing act it is an offence for any person under 18 years of age, or any person on the behalf of any person under 18 years of age, to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating liquor. This is subject to a maximum fine on conviction of £1,000.00
We take reasonable measures to ensure our website is free from malicious attacks. However, we offer no warranty that our website or secure-payment gateway is free from the risk of virus attack.
You access our website entirely at your own risk.
All our website content including logos and images is our property and protected copyright, trademarks, database rights and other intellectual property rights.
We use personal information collected on our website in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act and all other law and regulation within the United Kingdom for the protection of personal data.
Your data will comprise of personal information you voluntarily enter during the registration and/or order process. Additionally, any records of your previous purchasing activity. This data may be used by us, our service providers or legal advisers to administer your account and to authenticate and approve or reject transactions using your account.
We may disclose information to the Police, other regulatory bodies, or legal advisers if we suspect a criminal offence or breach of the terms and conditions, as required by law.
Your information is private and confidential. We will not disclose your data to any other parties or use the information for any other purposes without your consent. You may access and amend the information held by us.
Occasionally, we will ask for permission to share User Generated Content (UGC). For example, photos or text sent to us via social media or email, on our own social media channels. This is always in addition to other permission we might hold and we will treat separately. We will treat any personal details that you may give to us in accordance with this Policy, with the exception of a username (if you give us consent) so that we may credit the image or quote to you, and only with express consent.
Godminster encrypt all card details that you enter within our secure payment gateway. We do not store any details as open-text on any site.

Godminster Shop Loyalty Card Programme Terms & Conditions

Godminster reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or alter the scheme, including these Terms and Conditions, at any time.
– The Godminster Loyalty Card is only valid in the Godminster Shop in Bruton.
– The Godminster Loyalty Card is for personal use only. We strictly prohibit business use of the Godminster Loyalty Card and if used in this way, constitutes abuse.
Collecting Godminster Shop Loyalty Card stamps
Customers will collect 1 Godminster Shop Loyalty Card stamp for every £10 spent on qualifying purchases. However, Godminster reserves the right to withdraw stamps promotions without notice.
Redeeming Godminster Shop Loyalty Card stamps
Once you have collected 10 stamps on a single card, you can exchange this for a 400g Vintage Organic Cheddar.
Godminster Shop Loyalty Card stamps are not exchangeable for cash and the offer is non-transferable.
Spending points may be subject to availability in-store. We reserve the right to substitute the product of equal or greater value.
Product Returns & Refunds
If you return a product for a refund, we will deduct the number of stamps collected from your Godminster Shop Loyalty Card.
We cannot give a cash refund in these circumstances.
