
Delicious yet simple, this recipe is perfect for anyone looking to add a little cheesy decadence to their toastie with a sweet but spicy kick.
Ingredients
- Two thick slices of white sourdough bread
- 3-4 slices of Godminster Vintage Organic (enough to cover one slice of bread)
- 3-4 slices of gouda
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 1-3 tsp of sweet chilli jam
- Butter (unsalted or salted, whichever your preference)
Method
- Spread butter onto one side of each slice of sourdough and place so that the unbuttered sides are facing upwards
- Spread the sweet chilli jam on both unbuttered sides of sourdough
- Layer the slices of Godminster, gouda and mozzarella onto one of the pieces of bread
- Place the second slice of bread on top with the buttered side facing upwards
- Place the sandwich in a saucepan on medium heat and pan-fry until golden brown and crispy and the cheese has melted inside
