Godminster Oak-Smoked Cheyney’s FOrtune Cheddar Stuffed burger

  • 1 x 200g Oak-Smoked Cheyney’s Fortune truckle
  • Olive oil
  • 500g steak mince
  • A handful of breadcrumbs
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 x onion, chopped
  • 2 x egg yolks
  • Brioche buns
  • 4 x handfuls of Baby leaf salad
  • 1 x Beef tomato
  • 4 x Gherkins
  • 8 x bacon rashers
  • Sweet chilli jam or a sauce of your choice!
  • Combine the beef, chopped onions, seasoning, egg and breadcrumbs
  • Make the beef patties into the desired shape
  • Place approx. 15g of the Oak-Smoked Cheyney’s Fortune into the centre of each patty
  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan
  • Cook the burgers in the frying pan for around 6 minutes on each side
  • Top with more of the rich and intense cheddar if you fancy…
  • Toast the brioche bun
  • Top with baby leaf salad, the cheese-stuffed burger, beef tomato, sliced gherkins, bacon, and a sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
