
Continuing the #ToastiewiththeMostie theme is this classic… with heaps of delicious Godminster cheese!
Ingredients
- 2 slices of farmhouse loaf
- 2 rashers of bacon
- Generous amount of Godminster Vintage Organic Cheddar (around 4-5 slices, enough to cover a piece of bread)
- Handful of iceberg lettuce
- 2 large slices of mozzarella cheese
- 1 large tomato (sliced)
Method
- Fry the bacon until cooked through and leave to cool
- Spread butter on one side of each slice and place so that unbuttered sides are facing upwards
- Layer the lettuce, then Vintage Organic Cheddar onto one of the bread slices. Follow by layering the bacon, then the tomatoes followed by the mozzarella
- Place the second slice of bread on top with the buttered side facing upwards
- Place the sandwich in a saucepan on medium heat and pan-fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides
