Godminster Black Truffle Cheddar & Bacon Muffins

Perfect for breakfast or as a light snack, these muffins are not only super easy to make but also taste delicious. Using our award-winning Black Truffle Vintage Organic Cheddar, these tasty treats won’t last long!

 

  • Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6 
  • Cut bacon rashers into small pieces/chunks and fry until cooked through
  • Add the flour, baking powder and salt to a large bowl
  • Mix the butter, egg, and milk together in a jug
  • Combine the cheese and bacon to the dry ingredients in the bowl and mix well
  • Pour in the wet ingredients and mix together
  • Line the baking tray with muffin cases and divide the mixture equally between the cases
  • Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes or until well-risen and golden brown
  • Remove from the oven and leave to cool. Enjoy either warm or cool
