
A fun twist on a traditional bread wreath, this fabulously cheesy treat is not only easy to make but also something the whole family can enjoy!
Ingredients
- 150g Godminster Vintage Organic Cheddar (grated – plus extra for sprinkling)
- 150g Godminster Oak-Smoked Vintage Organic Cheddar (grated – plus extra for sprinkling)
- 2 rolls of ready-made pizza dough
- 6 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp of pizza sauce
- 3-4 tsp oregano
- Drizzle of garlic olive oil
Method
- On a floured surface, roll out both rolls of pizza dough into a rectangle
- Spread 1tbsp of pizza sauce onto both bases
- Evenly distribute both cheeses and the garlic cloves onto both pizza bases and sprinkle both with 2tsp of oregano
- Fold both bases inward – starting by folding one edge into the middle and then fold the other on top like a parcel
- With a rolling pin, roll out both bases until they are large rectangles
- Cut the base into three strips. Repeat with the second base
- Plait your three strips and do the same with the other three
- Once you have two plaits, connect them by making a circle and pressing the ends together
- Leave for 30 minutes in a warm place to rise
- Preheat the oven to 190C/ 170C fan/ Gas 5
- Once risen, drizzle the wreath in garlic olive oil and sprinkle with both Godminster cheeses and 1-2tsp of oregano
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
