What a weekend!!
Well, what a weekend that was. The weather might have taken an unexpectedly early turn into winter (what happened to the lovely Indian summer we were all hoping for?) but on the upside we sold out at both the Frome Agriculture and Cheese Show and the Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival and If you managed to get along to either of them you’ll know just how rushed off our feet we were, with each team battling it out to prove who could sell the most (bit of healthy competition never hurt anyone – team spirit I think they call it!).
Our organic brie went down a storm at Frome, while our special offer (a Godminster cool bag with a 400g heart-shaped chedddar, brie and smoked cheddar for £15) flew off the stand at Sturminster. Just goes to show that even in these straitened times people still love great cheese. They also appreciate a good deal too when they see it!
