St George’s Day

Today is St George’s Day so of course it’s the perfect time to celebrate all things English.  From tea and crumpets to cricket and country walks, we really don’t take enough time to appreciate our green and pleasant land.

So why not put some time aside to enjoy a truly English day (you may have to do this at the weekend as it’s looking a little miserable today!) We suggest taking a long country stroll with an all English picnic to keep you going. Don’t forget to include some cucumber sandwiches, some sausage rolls if you have time or a boiled egg or two, a good wedge of fruit cake and along with this, one of England’s most famous exports,  some beautiful cheddar cheese – we happen to know a very good one!

Back to all things Godminster - we have been facing quite a quandary recently. One of our most popular items, our  heart shaped cheese is causing us a headache as we can’t seem to find a way to label the cheese with our Godminster name whilst still ensuring that the heart looks just as beautiful.

Our labels are round and our hearts are, well, heart shaped! We have tried them to the left, the right and in the middle, but it never looks quite right. So now we’re asking you! If you have a bright idea of how we can label the heart cheese and still make it look lovely – then we would love to hear from you.  If you can come up with the perfect position or new label layout then we will reward you with a heart shaped cheddar – to say thanks.

Please either make suggestions on our facebook page, twitter, or email to jessica@godminster.com

We can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Jess.
