Never a dull moment
Never a dull moment in the world of Godminster! Deborah and Bethan are heading up North to the Harrogate Speciality Food Fair this weekend. on Sunday I’ll be going to Salisbury for a brand-new food and plant fair that looks like it could be a real winner. It’s taking place at Horatio’s Garden in the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in the grounds of Salisbury Hospital.
There’ll be teepee-covered plant and craft stalls in the beautiful garden by the award-winning garden designer Cleve West. Clive won the Chelsea Flower Show two years in a row so definitely worth a look. Also, locally sourced produce and an exhibition of sculptures by David Worthington. All in all, it should be a great day out – and it’s all for a good cause too, as all profits go towards funding a programme of creative events and activities that promote the well-being of people with spinal cord injury, including garden therapy classes, talks and musical events. It’s between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., so come along and say hello and try some of our award-winning vintage Godminster cheddar and bries. Pretty plants and delicious food – what could be nicer?
